Who are we?
The Roving Peregrine Theatre Company is an ever expanding collective of artists in WV seeking to foster the developments of fellow artists by eliminating common barriers to inclusivity and equity. We host theatrical and artistic productions throughout the year that range from spins on classics to new work, as well as various activities and workshops. We seek to train, challenge, and support the current, and next generation of theatre artists. Through our mission we also seek to join with other community theatres for mutual assistance and support, and we seek to use the power of theatre to reach our common goals within each community. Through this work we will bring new experiences and entertainment to enrich our surrounding communities.
vALUES
We are a theater space where all are welcome to learn, grow, and wander.
The Roving Peregrine Theatre Company values and respects every individual for the unique gifts they bring. We are dedicated to continuing our mission and celebrating our differences. We believe in opening doors for people of all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and identities. Peregrine embraces diversity, values inclusivity and strives for equity. Peregrine also encourages conversations and actions that bring our community closer together. Our goal is for every member of the Peregrine community and beyond to feel welcomed, valued, and safe to express their truest selves in our theater spaces and beyond them.
The Roving Peregrine Theatre Company
The Roving Peregrine has been invited to perform their WVTA submission ‘20 Something Teenager’ by David Veatch at the 2024 South Eastern Theatre Conference in Baltimore! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, perform, and attend educational workshops and events. Please note any additional funds raised will become a donation to the Roving Peregrine.
